Rope Socket- Pear Drop Type Rope Socket
There are 4 types of Rope Sockets as below, Pear Drop, Disc Spring Type, Slip Type, Clamp Type.
Pear Drop Type Rope Socket is used to securely attach 0.092”-0.125” wire to the Tool String. It utilises a brass wedge to keep the wire attached within the rope socket.
Pear Drop Type Rope Socket is available in various sizes and consists of a body, brass wedge and a set screw.
